Recycle Appliances

Appliances that do not contain coolants (stoves, washers, dryers) can be dropped off free of charge at:

 1. CrossRoads Recycling, 736-6099, 100 Eastview Drive, Franklin from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Mon – Fri. and 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Sat.

2. Community Recycling Solutions (CRS), 980 Hurricane Rd., Franklin. Call 317-538-4814 for recycling information.  there is no charge to drop off appliances.

3. The Franklin Transfer Station, 730 Industrial Drive, will non CFC-containing appliances; for fee information, call 736-4542.

Appliances with coolant or refrigerant (humidifiers, air conditioning  units, freezers, refrigerators) can be taken to:

3. 2. Appliance Recyclers of Indiana, 2025 English Ave., Indianapolis, 317-951-1234. 
5. 3.Disposal Alternatives Organization, 317-291-4500, to schedule a free pick up of appliances and/or lawnmowers. 

4.  NuGenesis, 1-800-487-1010 will come to your house to pick up your CFC appliance.  Fees apply.
