The District has a strong environmental education program available to teachers, students, and community groups in Johnson County. These presentations are FREE and are brought to you, either in the classroom or meeting location. They are designed to be fun and interactive educational experiences for your group. SCHOOL/STUDENT ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION – The District has a strong environmental education program available to educators and students in Johnson County. These fun and interactive presentations are FREE and are brought into each classroom. Some examples are "The Earth Cookie", "The 3 R's", "Who Polluted the River?", "Coffee Can Paper Making", "The Landfill Cookie", and "Squirmy Wormy Vermicomposting". The District also offers are variety of Trash to Treasure crafts. Call Kim Schafstall at 738-2546 or to schedule programs today. Space is limited and slots fill up quickly.
